Why these are here

A trust asking strangers for money should be checkable by strangers. These are the documents that let anyone confirm the trust exists, what it is registered to do, and whether a receipt from it will stand up with the income tax department.

For a company giving from its CSR budget, the MCA registration number is usually the first thing asked for, so it is printed above rather than left inside a scan.

Asking for a receipt

Donations are receipted by the trust itself. Call the number at the foot of this page after you have given, with the amount and the date, and an 80G receipt will be sent to you.
